This privacy policy covers information collected by TxWorld.com including all the associated websites, products and services. We treat privacy concerns very seriously not just because we are a business - we are also participants at other websites on the Internet. We treat your information with the same care and respect that we hope to receive ourselves.
The restrictions on the dissemination of personal information are subject to change, but the changes will not reduce the privacy protection of visitors. If there are changes made in the future the changes will not affect information already collected.
Customer and Visitor Information
TxWorld collects only aggregate information on both its customers and visitors. Our customer list has and never will be sold or distributed to any third parties for any reason.
TxWorld.com does not collect personally identifying information other than as it is explicitly stated during signup or purchase of products. You will never be asked for information such as Mother's maiden name or your social security number. If you receive any request for this type of information and it appears to have originated from this site do not respond to the request and notify us immediately. Notification information is at the bottom of this document.
Website Log Files
Web site log files are generated when you visit us that collect your IP address, date, time, and pages visited. Your IP address may be used to gather broad demographic information. Any aggregate reports for web site visitors are generated do not contain personally identifiable information.
Advertising reports are generated that show the IP addresses of visitors who clicked on ads. This information may be sent to the advertiser to confirm the number of "click-thrus." The advertiser normally already has this information as a result of the user clicking on the advertisement. No additional information about the visitor is supplied to the advertiser. The log files are eventually deleted.
eMail Lists
TxWorld.com does not send solicitations or participate in mass marketing. We do send eMail to our existing customers regarding renewal notices for continuing services such as domain registrations, eMail, or web page services.
We operate one mailing list, for the sole purpose of informing customers about scheduled service outages, interruption of service, or similar distribution of information. This list is a 100% opt-in list requiring subscribers to affirm their participation to join. Users are never added based on requesting information, making a purchase, or forgetting to uncheck some box during ordering. Information on how to subscribe or unsubscribe from the list may be obtained by sending an eMail to .
Special Notice for Domain Name Registrants
Internet domain name registration requires the registrant to provide information to be listed in a publicly available database (the WHOIS database) during domain name registration. This information is collecting in addition to the billing information described in the "Customer Information" section in the above paragraph. Customers may log onto their domain name records account and update their publicly available records at any time.
Credit Card Transactions
Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the products or services. TxWorld.com maintains a copy of the credit card information on its servers for recurring billing charges for those customers who host their website with us. This information is secured by SSL, and controlled by the customer through the domain control panel. To access this information, use the login for at https://cp.txworld.com.
Credit card transactions are processed by
Payquake.com and Authorize.net. A professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is
transmitted. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties.
Children's Information
We believe that throughout this site there is no material which a parent would consider unsuitable for children. This website is registered with ICRA and meets the guidelines of TRUSTe's Children's program.
- We do NOT collect online contact information without prior parental consent or parental notification, which will include an opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity. Without prior parental consent, online information will only be used to respond directly to the child's request and will not be used for other purposes without prior parental consent.
- We do NOT collect personally identifiable offline contact information without prior parental consent.
- We do NOT distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information with out prior parental consent.
- We do NOT give the ability to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information without prior parental consent.

Tracking Cookies
The philosophy of TxWorld.com is that Internet 'cookies' are somewhat invasive although they are in no way harmful to your PC. We do not use cookies to collect information on our customers or visitors, however certain products that we endorse and advertise do use persistent cookies when you visit their site. TxWorld is not responsible for advertisers use of cookies.

External Linking
This website contains links to other sites. TxWorld.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
The logging of clicks for external links using "redirects" is only done for advertisements. This is indicated by link to a URL such as '/redirect.asp?url= ...' The external URL is clearly marked in the "url=" portion. This is done to create the advertising reports described above in order to bill the advertiser.
User Registration
TxWorld.com does not require user registration to access content.
Domain name registration services are provided through Dotster.com and require a valid user Id and password. These Id's and passwords are not collected by TxWorld.com.
Website hosting does require registration.
Information provided by customers during signup is stored on our servers
and may be modified at any time. To modify your personal
information, login to your control panel by navigating to
https://cp.txworld.com.
Favicon.ico requests: Some browsers initiate a favicon.ico request to a
website when a user adds a site to their "Favorites" list. (.ico stands for "icon") It is a small 16x16 pixel icon that replaces the standard icon used for a web page. Favicon.ico requests are not tracked.
